THERE will be an evening of Scottish country dancing in Carnoustie tonight (Friday).
The Carnoustie Scottish Country Dance Club will host a Scottish Country Dance in the Beach Hall between 7.30 and 11 p.m.
David Anderson will supply the music and has put together a varied dance programme including ‘Cramond Bridge’, ‘Gourdieburn’ and S-Locomotion’.
Tickets are £6 and are available on the door.
KINLOCH Centre Project is holding a quiz night at the Kinloch Arms at 7.30 p.m. prompt on Monday, April 22.
Supper is included in the £10 entry for a team of four.

CARNOUSTIE Panmure Junior Football Club are holding a fund-raising race night next weekend.
On Saturday, April 20, in the Craw’s Nest, Barry Road, Race Night Scotland will host an evening of horse racing and fun.
Doors open at 7.30 p.m. with an 8 p.m. start.
THE LADIES of Carnoustie Tangent Club held their April meeting and annual general meeting in the Station Hotel on Monday evening. Mrs Fiona Leslie presided.
New office bearers were elected as follows: chairman, Mrs Pat Taylor; secretary, Mrs Kay Landsburgh; and treasurer, Mrs Helen Harley.
The outside visit in May is to the Dibble Tree Theatre.
