Broughty shop robbed

Police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery of a Broughty Ferry store at the weekend.

The incident took place at the Nisa Store on Gray Street at about 9.30 p.m. on Saturday (January 3).

The male entered the store and stole a quantity of tobacco, alcohol and cash. The shop assistant was not injured during the incident.

The male responsible is described as being 6 foot tall and of slim build. He was wearing a light coloured coat, dark coloured gloves and was a carrying a large dark coloured holdall.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or may have seen the male is requested to call 101, speak to any officer or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with any information.
