A man has been charged in connection with an alleged armed robbery in Arbroath’s West Port area at the weekend.
Police descended on Arbroath’s West Port on Sunday afternoon at around 2 p.m. following reports of a robbery at a convenience store.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery in West Port, Arbroath.”
