A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Broughty Ferry woman in Glasgow.
Police Scotland announced last night (Thursday) that a 26-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in police custody in connection with the inquiry into the death of Katy Rourke.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Officers attended an address in Minto Street, Govan, shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, December 30, and discovered the body of Katy Rourke (25) from Broughty Ferry.
Following a post mortem examination the death is being treated as murder and an investigation was launched resulting in the aforementioned arrest.
