Murders talk to Rotary

AT THE meeting of the Rotary club of Abertay held on Tuesday evening in the Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, members enjoyed an interesting talk entitled ‘Murders in Dundee’ given by Sandy McGregor.

Mr McGregor was chief reporter on ‘The Courier’ and revealed that during his working life he had covered many of the high profile murders that had occurred in the city

After he retired he wrote a book titled ‘The Law Killers’ and on Tuesday he talked about a few of the cases that he had written about in his book.

He said that his book had been so successful that he has been asked to write another, again about murders but this time it will be a novel. He ended his talk by assuring the company that Dundee had no bigger a proportion of murders than any to other city in Scotland.

Nigel Brown presided and the vote of thanks was given by David Logan.
