Police seek Vectra driver

The driver of a silver-coloured Vauxhall Vectra car who whistled at a paper boy at about 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, is being sought by police.

The incident occurred in the area of High Street, Carnoustie.

The driver whistled, apparently towards a 15-year old paperboy who was alarmed by his actions and rode away.

The teenager then saw the same car again in the area of Westpath, Carnoustie, at 6.30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, and was suspicious of the driver.

Anyone who knows who the driver of the silver-coloured Vauxhall Vectra is asked to contact Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
