Tayside Safety Camera Partnership (TSCP) continues to target safety camera activity at sites with a history of collisions and evidence of speeding drivers.
For the period commencing Saturday 8th November 2014 to Friday 14th November 2014, there will be safety camera activity on the dual carriageway sections of the A9 Perth to Inverness Road and and the A90 Perth to Dundee and Aberdeen Road.
Additional mobile enforcement will take place during the week at the following locations and routes detailed below.
Angus: A92 Arbroath to Montrose Route; A935 Brechin to Montrose Route; A933 Arbroath to Brechin Route; B954 Muirhead to Newtyle Road; A923 Muirhead to Coupar Angus Road at Piperdam; A94 Castleton to Forfar.
Dundee: B961 Drumgeith Road; C231 Charleston Drive; C241 Broughty Ferry Road; C209 Old Glamis Road; A92 Greendykes Road; A92 East Dock Street; A972 Kingsway East; A90 Kingsway; A90 Forfar Road.
Perth & Kinross: A923 Blairgowrie to Muirhead Route; A93 Old Scone to Blairgowrie Road at Meikleour; A94 Scone to Castleton; A977 Kinross to Crook of Devon Road at Balado.
The deployment schedule may change according to operational priorities and road and weather conditions.
Average speed cameras are now in operation on the A9 between Dunblane and Inverness and a 50mph speed limit trial for HGVs also came into force between Perth and Inverness.
Car drivers are reminded that the speed limit is 60mph on single carriageways and 70mph on dual carriageways. For further information please see the website www.A9road.inf
