Dancers wanted? Oh yes they are!

Calling all budding dancers! Angus Council is holding open auditions for its annual panto next week.

They will take place in the Webster Memorial Theatre on Monday, August 24, from 4.30 to 6.30pm, and offer the chance to be in the professional panto, ‘Cinderella’.

These open auditions offer an amazing opportunity for the young talent of Angus aged 10 - 18 to work alongside a professional theatre company and cast that includes Carmen Pieraccini as fairy Multi task (Kelly–Marie Adams, ‘River City’) Isabelle Joss (‘Silent Witness’) as Cinderella and Nathan Byrne as the Prince (‘Teacup Travels’) with Graham Crammond as the Ugly Sister.

Written and Directed by award winning playwright John Binnie, ‘Cinderella’ has it all; romance, slapstick, audience participation and loads of laughs. With beautiful eye-catching sets and costumes designed by Robin Mitchell, ‘Cinderella’ is a classic, magical fairytale with something for all the family.

Auditions are open to all and no specific dance grades are required.

‘Cinderella’ opens Thursday, December 3, and runs until Thursday, December 24, 2015.
