Daphne Barbieri’s African odyssey

AT THE opening meeting of Dundee Camcorder Club, president Daphne Barbieri took a packed hall of members and friends on a three-week journey that she had taken this summer in Africa.

In Nairobi, on the last day, Iain Douglas-Hamilton of Save the Elephants was presented with his share of the money raised from the public presentations of African wildlife films held in March. She then visited the Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi to meet Dame Daphne Sheldrick who aslo received a cheque.
