A CHEQUE for £500 was presented to Cancer Research UK at Monifieth Medical Practice on Friday by Dr Rebecca Locke.

Dr Locke is leaving the surgery after 14 years in general practice to take up a post in e-Health and Health Informatics, which works to improve the patient journey from general practice to hospital and to discharge and back home again.

A collection from colleagues amounted to £500 and Dr Locke requested that the money be donated to the cancer charity.
