Animation afternoon at Woodlands

On the 8th of June P5 of Woodlands Primary School held an animation afternoon Jor parents and carers. The animations were based on dinosaurs and evolution. They developed skills in research and filming to edit the animations. The pupils planned it in advance and made cupcakes, decorations and a dance to entertain the quests. They also contacted local businesses to ask them'          'to support the event. The P5 teacher Mrs Laura Ferguson says: "A big thank you to the Co-op for donating ingredients for our cupcakes, JM Bakery for giving us some biscuits and The Floor Studio for providing a red carpet."'Prior to the event Niall from P5 says" I can't wait to show my mum my animation!" Andrew from P5 says.- "I am really looking forward to it because it will be the biggest afternoon of the term!"

ON FRIDAY, primary five children at Woodlands Primary School held an animation afternoon for parents and carers.

The animations were based on dinosaurs and evolution. The youngsters had developed skills in research and filming to edit the animations.

The pupils planned the presentation in advance and made cupcakes and decorations and organised a dance display to entertain the guests.

They also contacted local businesses to ask them to support the event. Teacher Mrs Laura Ferguson expressed thanks to the Co-op for donating ingredients for the cupcakes, JM Bakery for donating biscuits and The Floor Studio for providing a red carpet.
