Carlogie pupils entertain

MEMBERS of Carnoustie Probus Club were entertained by the girls and boys of Carlogie Primary School choir at their meeting in the Station Hotel on Wednesday morning.

Under the guidance of class teachers Lyn Ross and Morag Oldham and assistant Elaine Carlile, the children performed a programme including a violin quartet, a solo sword dance, a selection of poems by William McGonagall and a medley of well-known Scottish songs.

Vice-president Grant MacIntosh was in the chair and the vote of thanks was given by Leslie Hunter.

At the club’s next meeting on December 7, members will make their annual visit to Burnside Primary School.
