GREEN was the predominant colour at Eastern Primary School, Broughty Ferry, on Friday when the pupils took part in a Green Day to help build awareness of the environment.
During last week, the children had focused on recycling and took part in Green Schools’ Revolution Week run by The Co-operative.
They undertook a range of activities from thinking about saving water in primary three to designing an eco garden in primary six.
The school had a visit from Trudy Cunningham, who is an expert in sustainability. The Eco Group worked closely with the Gardening Club planting seeds and trees which were kindly donated. Our picture shows some of the children who had adopted the Green Day theme on Friday.
