Inter-schools netball

Carnoustie, Barnhill and Monifieth primary schools took part in the first of a series of netball tournaments at Carlogie Primary School, Carnoustie, on Thursday. The tournaments are themed in conjunction with each school's nominated country taking part in the Glasgow Commonweath Games 2014. Winners were Burnside (Malawi) with a respectable 15 points, closely followed by Grange (Delhi), last year's overall winners, with 13 points.
