A group of Grove Academy girls have been running a nail bar during lunchtimes to raise money for a Kenyan kindergarten.

On the suggestion of Miss Laura Glover, the five girls from S3, Grace Berry, Liberty Hunter, Fatima Gani, Taylor Allan and Ammarah Valimohamed started the Wednesday lunchtime manicures as a way to raise funds for the kindergarten in St Stephen’s Methodist Church in Meru, Kenya.

So far the girls have raised £60 and are looking to expand into nail art and false nails to raise more money.
