There was a good turnout for the annual general meeting of Carnoustie High School Parent Council on Tuesday.

In the chairman’s report, Mr Alistair Crozier described a successful year which included involvement in both the Supported School and HMIe inspections, two selection/interview processes for depute head teachers and discussion on the lunchtime health drop-in clinics.

Mr K Lee, vice-chair, spoke on the introduction of the Carnoustie Achievers initiative and Mr Crozier gave a verbal treasurer’s report.

Office bearers elected were: chair, Mr A. Crozier; vice-chair, Mr K. Lee; secretary, Mr M. Finlayson; and treasurer, Mrs F. Morgan; with a further nine members and eight co-opted members.
