HARD work was rewarded when the students on Angus College’s Positive Pathways Programme received their certificates at a ceremony in the college.

The programme, run by Angus Council’s social work and health department and the supported employment team at Angus College, offers opportunities to people with difficulties to help them gain life and work skills which could lead to getting jobs. The students with tutors and the all-important certificates of achievement are, from left, front - Nicola Clark, Arbroath; Amanda Taylor, Montrose; Sarah Anderson, Carnoustie; director of curriculum support and development Cath Ferrie; James Taylor, Arbroath; Beverley Currie, Montrose and Maria Orsi, Arbroath: back - lecturer Craig Strachan, Amanda Teviotdale, Arbroath; David Phillip and Colin Reid, both Montrose; lecturer Graeme Carr; and Sandra Ogilvie, social work and health, Angus Council.
