ECO WEEK: Seaview Primary School held it’s combined Health and Eco week last week.

The even had been organised by primary six teacher Mrs Claire Yeaman and was packed with activities for all of the children to enjoy.

There was an ‘Hotshots’ extravaganza, run by Dundee Football Club’s Chris Paton and two of his coaches, and the whole school took part in a mass Zumba session given by parents Jackie Brymer and Rhonda Spence.

The school also celebrated being awarded Green Flag status for their efforts in making the school a healthier, safer and greener environment.

The Eco week incorporated a host of activities, including a colourful welly planting competition, football at Pitskelly Park, a dance, a visit to Kindrogen environmental field studies centre and a tour of different animal habitats by Monikie Park Rangers.

Safety workshops were also run and looked at personal safety as well as addressing safety issues in Angus at large.
