ONCE a year the committee of Monifieth Over-60s Club provide the afternoon’s entertainment in the Gerard Hall, under their group name, The Shambles.

And on Monday, the committee-members once again did themselves proud, with a trip down Broadway and lots of familiar show tunes.

Sixty-six members attended and, according to one source, were locked in at 1.45 p.m. Special guest was the Rev. Dorothy Anderson.

Margaret Petrie organised the event and was master of ceremonies.

Tea and cakes were served after the interval.

Entertainment next week will be by Tessa Rhind.
