Steps star and actress Faye Tozer returns to the stage in the uproariously funny new comedy, ‘69 Shades of Black’ this spring and she is heading to the Webster Memorial Theatre in Arbroath.

The nationwide tour will stop off in Angus on Saturday, April 25.

Sassy and saucy with a whip-crackingly riotous script, ‘69 Shades of Black’ is the perfect feel-good girls’ night out.

Boring and vanilla, William Shight’s most interesting trait has always been his snigger inducing name - up until now that is.

Since landing his dream job at one of the country’s top advertising agencies, things have taken a turn for the shocking.

Christina Black, the company director, has taken a shine to William and attempts to seduce him with an indecent proposal.

Overwhelmed by the attention and without friends or family to turn to, he decides to seek the advice of the only two men in his life he can trust, the hilariously argumentative Gabriel and Gideon, his conscience.

William tries in vain to resist but in the end relents and signs a 69-page contract, the one Christina intends to use to make a man out of him.

The 20 pages of ‘don’t’ and 49 pages of ‘do whatever the hell I want’ will lead William on the hilariously painful journey of a lifetime.

Faye trained at the Anne Gale School of Dance where she achieved advanced qualifications in all aspects of dance, including ballet, tap and modern. She then went on to dance professionally with the Belinda King Dancers for two years, until international success with the phenomenon that was Steps.

During a six-year period, Steps had more than 18 top 10 hits and four multi-platinum albums, overall record sales topped 20 million and are still rising today.

Along with number one singles, albums and tours, Faye also has a wealth of presenting experience and has starred in numerous musical theatre roles and theatre work.

Faye will head a cast of four in ‘69 Shades of Black’ which is directed by Michael Courtney with a script by Courtney, Chris Taylor and Fraser Boyle. The show is produced by Michael Courtney Productions. Follow Faye and ‘69 Shades of Black’ on Facebook: www.facebook.com/69shadesuktour and on Twitter: @shadesofblack15
