A charity day was held at Jumping Joeys last week to help a young boy with severe health problems. Half of the day’s takings, from the play centre on Queen’s Drive, will be donated to the Blake McMillan Trust which funds research into the MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome which toddler Blake suffers from. A grand total of £480 was raised on the day. A fund-raising quiz night has been organised to take place in the Aboukir Hotel, Carnoustie, at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, with all proceeds going to the Blake McMillan Trust and Reverse Rett.

Our picture shows some of the youngsters and their parents who came along for some fun for a good cause.
