Carnoustie Musical Society is saying thank you to their loyal supporters by dropping ticket prices for their next show.
‘The Pajama Game’ will run from Tuesday, March 11, to Friday, March 14, in Carnoustie High School’s Theatre.
Ticket prices have been slashed to £9 for adults and £8 for concessions and block bookings of eight or more and is partly to repay the good support the society has enjoyed in the past, and also to do their part to provide reasonably priced entertainment.
Carnoustie Musical Society president Susan Kydd said: “We are all very conscious of rising prices especially when it comes to putting on a show.
“Many of our costs are out of our control but, by sticking to a very strict budget and minding our pennies, we have chosen to drop our ticket prices to benefit our loyal audience.
“We hope the people of Carnoustie will turn out for an evening of entertainment that won’t break the bank!”
Tickets are on sale now from The Fobel Shop or on 01241 852715.
‘The Pajama Game’ tells the story of union unrest and blossoming love in a pyjama factory during a pay dispute in 1950s America. It opened on Broadway in 1954 where it ran for more than 1,000 shows and was adapted for the big screen in 1957 and starred Doris Day.
