Carnoustie Community Council is urging local residents to make their views known about the current Angus Local plan review before the consultation period ends on January 4.

Angus Council has produced a ‘Main Issues Report’ (MIR) which sets out a strategy and vision for the area over the next 20 years and identifies where development should and should not go.

Community Council chairman, Jim Simpson, said: “The MIR puts forward preferred and reasonable alternative options for growth in and around Carnoustie and it is really important that members of the community take the opportunity to let Angus Council know what they think of the proposals.”

Copies of the MIR and associated documents are available at the Library and local ACCESS office or can be accessed at where comments can be submitted online.
