The weather failed to dampen the spirits of over 350 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Leaders, who gathered to celebrate the Queen’s birthday at the county’s camp site near Forfar.

The fun-filled day included a range of craft activities and games, as well as a beautifully decorated cake to mark the monarch’s 90th birthday.

Fiona Dalziel, County Commissioner for Angus, said: “Girlguiding is very proud of The Queen’s long association with guiding.

“The aim of the Patron’s Lunch was to inspire people across the UK to gather together and to host parties, and it was wonderful to see so many of our members coming together to make this event such a success.”
