A vintage ploughing match was held at Pitlivie Farm, Carnoustie, last Sunday by kind permission of the Niven family.
A total of 54 vintage tractors and two pairs of Clydesdale horses turned up on a windy but dry day.

The Royal Highland Society Medal for the overall winner was presented to A. West, Fourdon.
The presentation of trophies will take place on Saturday, March 1, next year at the dinner and dance which will be held in Monikie Hall.
