A MONIFIETH restaurant has started the search for the ‘Carol Factor’ in time for the festive season.
Monifieth Farm Brewers Fayre at Ethiebeaton is part of the national search for the official Brewers Fayre ‘Christmas Carol Stars’ of 2012.
Choirs and singing groups of all styles and ages are encouraged to enter to win a chance to record a CD of carols which will be played in Brewers Fayre pub restaurants throughout Britain.
As a runner-up prize four groups will also get the chance to perform for guests in their local Brewers Fayre.
Emma Price, a spokesperson for Brewers Fayre, said: “Carol singing really does help make the Christmas period feel all the more enchanting and after seeing such a great response during last year’s search, Brewers Fayre is thrilled to show its support for local singers across the country.
“We can’t wait to listen to the entries and are looking forward to sharing some festive music with our customers this Christmas.”
To enter groups should send an audio or video clip of their rendition of a carol by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Carol Factor, Frank PR, Third Floor, Centre 4, 20-23 Mandela Street, London, NW1 0DU by midnight, Saturday, November 24.
Information should be included detailing the group’s name, names of members, contact details for the group in case they win, a picture and 100 words on why they should win.
