local people are being invited to take a moment to listen to their lungs and check if they are feeling breathless or experiencing shortness of breath.
A free long term condition day is to be held in the Reid Hall in Forfar on Thursday, April 25, and the Angus community is invited to come along to the health information event and find out what they can do to live better.
Many people in Angus live with respiratory disease such as asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which is an umbrella term for a number of progressive lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
During the day staff from Angus Community Health Partnership respiratory team and representatives from patients groups will be manning the stand offering advice and information.
The event in Forfar has been developed by Angus people living with long term conditions and is supported by Angus CHP, Angus Council Social Work plus local and national voluntary organisations.
The aim of this event is to highlight the help and support as well as the range of services that are available in Angus for people living with a long term condition.
