At LAST week’s meeting of Monifieth Rotary Club one of the organisation’s highest honours was bestowed on four members.

The club met in the Grange Golf Club on Thursday to present the Paul Harris Award to past presidents Adrian Arthur, Norman Howie, David Barrie and Alistair Martin.

The award, named after the founder of the Rotary Club, Paul P. Harris, is given to members who have provided sterling service to the organisation.

Prior to the presentation members were addressed by Freda Stewart of Angus Community Health Partnership on her work on health improvement through connecting communities.

Stuart Robison presided and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mike McGreavey.
