Hitting the high spots for charity

A CARNOUSTIE High pupil recently scaled Scotland’s highest mountain to raise money for a Dundee charity. Laura Devery (14) raised £287 for the Oliver Bosch Appeal by climbing to the top of Ben Nevis on Saturday, September 15.

An additional £115 was realised by her classmates through a bake sale. Oliver has been profoundly deaf since birth and has been diagnosed with Goldenhaar Syndrome. His parents are attempting to raise £60,000 for a revolutionary Auditory Brain Stem implant to help him hear.
