Former Monifieth High School pupil Heather Crabb has achieved professional success by being named as a Chartered Fellow by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
The CIPD is the professional body for human resources and people development responsible for setting the rigorous process for achieving fellowship status. “I am absolutely delighted to be awarded the fellowship,” said Mrs Crabb. “It is a mark of esteem within your professional life.”
Mrs Crabb studied Modern History and International Relations at St Andrews University. She went on to Dundee College in 1997 to study for the Diploma in Personnel Management (Institute of Personnel and Development) before landing her first job as a human resources (HR) assistant for HMP Friarton, Perth.
From May, 1999, Mrs Crabb has worked for the University of Aberdeen and has accepted a role as executive assistant and project officer to the University Secretary.
