A BBC journalist, writer and speaker who has been called “one of Britain’s greatest tellers of travellers’ tales” will speak in Dundee on Tuesday, January 8.
John Pilkington, pictured, will share the story of a trip from Georgia to Afghanistan following a less-travelled branch of the Silk Road.
This talk is part of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society’s Inspiring People talks programme.
John’s talk ‘Georgia to Afghanistan’ will take place at 7.30 p.m. in Dundee University’s Tower Building, Perth Road, Dundee, DD1 4HN.
Tickets are £8 for adults and are free for students, under-18s and Royal Scottish Geographical Society members. Tickets are available on the door.
