An Arbroath firm has reached the final stage of a prestigious European service industry competition.
Journeycall, part of ESP Group and one of Arbroath’s biggest employers with a client portfolio worth £60m annually, has reached the final stage of the prestigious European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards 2015.
Heralded as the biggest event since its launch with a record number of high profile entries, Journeycall continue to make their mark on the local economy and beyond.
This news comes just weeks after Journeycall was accredited with ‘One to Watch’ status at the Annual ‘Best Company Awards’ event for the fourth year running securing a record rating.
Theresa Wishart, operations director at Journeycall, commented: “I am delighted that all our hard work has been recognised by the industry. To reach the final stages of the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards ‘Medium Contact Centre of the Year’ category is a testament to the hard work of our team and something we have been striving towards. I’m proud that we have reached the final stages and I look forward to welcoming the independent judges over the coming months.
“It’s an honour to work alongside such a committed and dedicated team of people especially during such and exciting time in our history. Our ambition is for growth but at the very heart of this is our staff who are extremely important to our success story. To me, our team is the one of the best in the industry supported by the length of time we have delivered services for some of our key clients. Moving forward, I am really excited about the opportunity we have to further increase our range of specialist services to exciting clients and targeting new business wins as part of our long-term plans.”
Journeycall’s portfolio of clients includes TfL (Transport for London), ATOC (Association of Train Operating Companies), Stagecoach and Megabus. The ongoing success of the business meant that it could move to the purpose built state-of-the art facility. The new £2m headquarters in Arbroath was designed around the needs of employees who were included in the design process.
The final result is a highly impressive centre, where staff needs, from breakout areas to catering facilities, ergonomically designed seating and spacious work areas, provide a relaxed environment which fosters excellent customer service.
