The latest plans for the Kinloch Centre Project will be up for discussion next week.
The Carnoustie Centre Action Group will hold their annual general meeting on Monday, May 18, in the Panmure Community Centre, Kinloch Street.
Members are invited along for 7pm and then the doors will be opened at 7.30 to the public for their input into the project which hopes to create a community hub in the centre of Carnoustie.
Discussion is likely to include proposals for the future of the Philip Hall on Dundee Street if Carnoustie Church decide to sell it on as part of their own modernisation project, as well as the evolution of previous proposals, including the small community cinema.
Chair of the group, Peter Murphy, said: “The cinema project is not dead, we are just looking to carry it through in another dimension.
‘‘We are also hoping to get more people involved and fill a few committee positions.”
Refreshments will be available for attendees.
