THE SEARCH will soon begin to find the cutest kid of 2012 in our free to enter photo competition, sponsored by Harbourside Grill, Arbroath, and the Co-op, High Street, Carnoustie.
Our photographer is set to capture the best side of any youngsters, five years and under and then it will then be up to you, our readers, to decide on your favourite.
On Monday and Tuesday, May 14 and 15, our photographer will be in the Co-op store in High Street, Carnoustie, from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m.
On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 16, 17, 18 and 19, she will be in the Harbourside Grill, 61 Ladybridge Street, Arbroath, again from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m.
There is no need to make an appointment, but please bear in mind that some times will be busier than others and there may be a short wait.
All you have to do is turn up, we will do the rest. Remember, entry is free of charge.
Pictures of all entrants will be published in our newspapers in the weeks after the pictures have been taken.
We want you, our readers, to decide who the cutest kids in our area are by voting. Three weeks of heats will take place and the top three, voted by you each week, will go on to the final.
Then again in the final, we want you to vote for your favourite who will be crowned Arbroath Herald/Guide & Gazette Kute Kid 2012.
Included in the prizes for the winner is a top prize of a professional framed portrait and gift vouchers for a local store. The runner-up will also receive a framed and mounted portrait along with vouchers.
And as a special bonus, the Harbourside Grill is offering the parents or guardians of the winning child a £50 voucher for them to enjoy a meal at the fantastic restaurant which recently opened in the town.
Remember, entry is simple and free so make sure you don’t miss out on a chance of the Kute Kid 2012 title.
