Gunners from 212 (Highland) Battery RA, 105th salute at Stirling Castle at midday on Monday 21st for the birthday of Her Majesty The Queen.

One of five Royal Salutes fired at Stirling Castle throughout the year the Gunners from 212 (Highland) Battery RA, 105th Regiment Royal Artillery marked the occasion of the 88th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen by firing a 21 Gun Royal Salute on April 21.

Soldiers on parade were from the reserve centres in Kirkcaldy, Arbroath and Lerwick.

The Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel James Cook RA said: “As the Scottish and Ulster Gunners, we were honoured to fire Royal Salutes at Stirling Castle on the occasion of Her Majesty The Queen’s Birthday.”
