A group of local foster carers have bared all for a new charity calendar to raise much needed funds for the children they look after.

The Angus Fostering and Adoption group stripped off for a ‘Calendar Girls’ style fund-raiser and are hoping to bring in over £1,000.

The group comprises members from both Arbroath and Carnoustie.

The calendar is just one of many fund-raising events the group organises throughout the year.

And with the money they raise, they hope to organise trips for the children they look after throughout the year.

Group member Dorothy Archer said: “We hope to raise about £1,000 by doing this calendar of photographs.

“We are hoping to go on a trip to Flamingo Land next year and the rest of the money will be used for whatever the kids need really.

“We are also doing a bag-pack tomorrow (Saturday) so hopefully we will raise a good sum of money.”

Anybody interested in buying a calendar priced £5 can contact Dorothy on 01241 876481.
