Carnoustie BBs gear up for Christmas card delivery

AS WE race towards Christmas, the officers, friends and boys of the 1st Carnoustie Company Boys’ Brigade are gearing up for this year’s Christmas Post delivery in and around the Carnoustie area.

Last year over 16,000 cards were delivered in what has become a very reliable and efficient service over the years.

Cards can be posted from December 1 to 21 at the various boxes across the town.

It is requested that a minimum donation of 15p per card is given.

The following are the shops and churches where cards can be posted:

AA Hairdressing (Queen Street), Carnoustie Tyres, Fobel DIY, I&M MacDougall Newsagents, Inspirations, Nickel and Dime, Pet and Garden Centre and Robbies Hair Design, and Barry, Carnoustie, Erskine United Free, Holyrood, Newton Panbride and St Anne’s Churches.

Those using the service are encouraged to ensure that their cards are properly addressed as it makes life much easier for the BB posties if the correct name, number and street are all on the envelope!
