An Arbroath girl has undergone a dramatic hair restyle all in the name of charity.
On the day after her ninth birthday last Wednesday, Charlie Tutchener had her 12-inch pony tail chopped off in a sponsored hair cut.
The cut took place at Hope Hair and Beauty on the West Port in Arbroath with Charlie raising £700 for the Little Princess Trust in the process.
Hairdresser Debbie Gordon from Hope Hair and Beauty carried out the cut and Charlie was delighted with the finished style.
In addition her redundant hair was also collected so it could be sent to the Little Princess Trust.
The charity makes and provides wigs for children who are undergoing treatment for cancer that makes their hair fall out.
They also help children with other hair loss conditions such as alopecia.
