The Salvation Army in Arbroath launched their Christmas Present appeal on Monday in the town’s Superdrug store.
Every year the Salvation Army collects donations and toys for children who otherwise would have nothing to open on Christmas morning.
People can now drop off an unwrapped gift for a child aged from birth to 16 at the Superdrug store in the High Street.
These are then distributed through the Angus Toy Appeal, which runs until December 20 and over 400 gifts were given last year.
