TIME is running out for people in Angus hoping to post cards and presents in time for Christmas.
The Royal Mail’s deadline day for posting second class mail is tomorrow (Tuesday).
They also want to remind customers to use a postcode as it is the Royal Mail’s key routing tool and helps direct post more quickly.
It is also a good idea to include a return address on parcels.
Parcels and packages should also be securely wrapped to protect them during transit and always check you are using the correct address and the correct postage.
Gerry O’Rourke, Royal Mail operational director for the north, said: “Royal Mail’s thousands of postmen and women will be very busy sorting and delivering Christmas mail right up until and on Christmas Eve.
“Please help us to help you by posting by our recommended posting dates and by always using a postcode.”
