Good response to Upper Victoria plan

A Carnoustie construction firm has published the results of public feedback gathered on proposals for a new development on the outskirts of the town.

Developer DJ Laing received very positive feedback overall for their proposed mixed industrial and housing project at Upper Victoria.

According to the results 94 per cent felt the project would benefit the community; 96 per cent felt it would alleviate town centre congestion; 91 per cent saw it as well-connected and in the right location; 82 per cent believed it addressed housing shortages; 93 per cent felt it created future opportunities for growth; 100 per cent supported growth in Carnoustie and 97 per cent supported Phase 1 without public funding.
