Angus College held their graduation of students in the Webster Theatre on Friday. Our picture shows the cross college award studente and principal John Burt who made the presentations.

A NUMBER of Carnoustie and district students graduated from Angus College last week.

The graduation ceremony was held in the Webster Memorial Theatre on Friday.

By subject, local students graduating in the morning were: HNC Sports Coaching and Development – Kyle Robb; HNC Early Education and Childcare – Yvonne McDonald; HNC Health Care – Claire Munro; Gillian Vincent, and Claire Robinson from Kingennie. HNC Accounting – Jane Ambrose; Caroline Simpson; HNC Administration and Information Technology – Kirsty Anderson; Bernadette Howlett; Susan Laing; Lucy Peter and Annette Wilson; HNC Social Sciences – Lesleigh McAdam; HND Social Science – Lesley Russell; HNC Working with Communities – John Mowatt.

Gillian Vincent was also presented with the award for best HNC Health care student.

Students from Carnoustie and district graduating in the afternoon were, by subject: HNC Computing – Scott Henderson and Piotr Zmudzinski; HNC Interactive Media and Web Development – Gary Williamson; HND Information System Technology – Dean Nicholson; HNC Contemporary Art Practice – Katya Hay, Monikie; HND Contemporary Art Practice – Elke Lyon. HNC Construction – Deborah Roberts; HNC Animal Care – Laura Burdin; Susan Gifford and Ross Savory.

Laura Burdin was also presented with the award for best HNC Animal Care student.
