ARBROATH Gymnastic Club had great sucess at the annual Angus inter-club competition held in Forfar recently.
Arbroath were up against competition from clubs including Forfar Phoenix, Magic of Montrose and Angus Axis.
All 38 local gymnasts did exceptionally well wining the club 27 golds, 20 silver and four bronze medals.
The awards presented were:
Six to seven years beginners team- Caitlin Vannet, gold; Libby-Jo Geddes and Katie McCombie, team gold. Eight to nine beginners team - Katie Chapman, Aimee Esslemont and Mollie Walker, team silver. 10 to 11 years beginners team: Aideen Campbell, Lauren Clark, Michaline Marchewka and Zoe Ohren, team silver. Junior boys beginners team - Jaiden Price, Liam Martin and Matthew Rainey, team silver.
Eight to nine years intermediate - Maria Clark, silver; Madison Wood, bronze; Patricia McCagh and Natalie Robertson, team gold. 10 to 11 years intermediate - Teagan Mitchell, silver; Lucy Hopper, Bronze; Rebecca Howie, team gold. Over 12 intermediate - Rebecca Norman, silver; Rebecca Martin, bronze; Caitlin Walker and Pamela Methven, team gold. Junior boy intermediate individual - Logan Gordon, gold. Junior boy intermediate team - Cory Pinder, gold; Scott Nairn, silver and Ruari Walker, bronze.
Junior girls advanced - Eve Swan, gold; Milly Cresswell and Rachel Murphy, team gold. Junior adavamced girls 2 - Taylor McColl, silver; Iona McFarlane, Rachel Murphy, team gold. Senior girls advance individuals - Nicola Dauncan, gold.
