A LOCAL web design company has shown its support for students by setting up an annual scholarship and awards at Angus College worth £1,000.
Hit Reach based on Arbroath’s West Port have created the positions especially for web design students.
Last week chairman of the Angus College Charitable Trust, William Lawrie accepted the cheque worth £1,000 from Hit Reach employees Hayley Tait and Lauren Munro.
Each year at the College’s annual graduation, two students undertaking the HNC and HND web design courses at the college will receive scholarships worth £200 courtesy of Hit Reach.
Furthermore Hit Reach will also be sponsoring the prize for ‘Best Student’ in both web design courses.
The winners will have displayed outstanding effort and commitment to their studies and will receive a prize of £300 to honour this achievement.
