Proprietor Dennis Laidlaw said: “My team and I would like to thank Angus Council for the opportunity to fulfil the expectations of the people of Carnoustie and surrounding areas. We strive to provide the finest local ingredients where possible and we will endeavour to use Fair Trade products, such as our Triple Certified Coffee Bean.

“Having already spent a few weeks in Carnoustie, I have met some terrific people who were all wishing us all the best.”

Councillor Gaul added: “I’m delighted to see the café has opened on time and within budget. The café will provide much needed additional leisure space and café facilities for families visiting the playpark, walkers, cyclists, and tourists to the area.”
