The Signal Tower Museum is hosting a ‘Poppy Project’ to help commemorate all the Arbroath fatalities from thje First World War.
Staff of Signal Tower Museum plan to commemorate the Arbroath men who died during the war through a free poppy-making drop-in activity for all visitors over the next four years.
The activity is open to anyone who would like to make a poppy, and then dedicate it to an Arbroath man who died in the Great War.
The museum will make the necessary craft materials available to visitors and will provide a list of the men who died.
It is hoped that, between 2014 and 2018, all Arbroathians killed in the conflict will be commemorated.
The current project will run from August until November.
