Angus MP Mike Weir was delighted to be invited to speak at the 20th anniversary celebration of the HOPE garden trust last Saturday. Mr Weir is a long-standing supporter of the project and said that their aims of helping those with learning difficulties and producing a local source of organic food were both excellent aims. He said: “As an organic gardener myself I am especially interested in the gardens at HOPE. Hopefully the encouragement of HOPE will spur me on to greater efforts.”
Mr Weir, pictured with HOPE chairman Cedric De Voil, wished the project well in the years to come and cut a cake to celebrate the project’s birthday.
