A Monifieth playgroup has received a glowing report after an inspection by Education Scotland.
The report stated that children at St Rules Playgroup were happy and really enjoy their time there, with very positive relationships between staff, children and their families.
It also looked at particular aspects of the pre-school centre’s recent work, including use of floor space, partnerships with parents and the development of children’s profiles. It found children are learning well as they play with a good range of activities which reflect their interests. Kids are displaying a growing confidence in making decisions about what they want to play with and most use that choice well.
Alison Ryder, manager of the playgroup, said: “We are delighted to get such a good report.
“We have worked so hard to make the playgroup as welcoming a place as possible for the children and their parents and we’re all thrilled.”
