Police target Arbroath ‘Head Shop’

The latest chapter in the ‘Legal Highs’ saga unfolded on a busy Arbroath thoroughfare this morning (Monday).

A dozen officers from Police Scotland descended on ‘Evape-o-Lution’ on Brothock Bridge at around 11 a.m. as part of Operation Carinate, which saw simultaneous raids taking place on so-called ‘Head Shops’ in Montrose and Perth.

The aim of the raid was to search the premises for controlled substances and to also seize items of the shop’s New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) stock which would be tested to see if any of those products themselves contained elements of controlled substances.
