Rotary Club quiz winners

The local heat of this year's Rotary Primary School Quiz took place at Seaview Primary School on Monday (February 24), under the auspices of Monifieth Rotary Club. The schools which took part were Grange, Mattocks, Murroes and Seaview primaries.  After a closely fought contest over 10 rounds of questions the team from Seaview Primary was declared the winner with a total of 95 points, just six points ahead of Grange Primary, with Murroes Primary only one point behind Grange. Club President Neil Anderson presented the members of the winning team with book tokens, and all of the pupils who took part were given certificates. The Seaview team will now go forward to the area final. The winning Seaview team comprised, from left  - Su-Rui Liang (reserve), Emily Lynch, Ben MacDermid, Niamh Spiers and Cameron Dryden.
